Special Attention For Every Person

Our farm is set in 14.5 acres of peaceful surroundings on the edge of Laughton Forest. We have various friendly animals that are used to having close contact with our clients with most of who are used to walking on leads around the site. Our planting area is accessible to all who enjoy the growing of fruit, vegetables and flowers. Indoor/outdoor cooking and activity sessions will be available using some of the produce grown onsite.

Our sessions run onsite from 9.30 to 2.30 Mondays and Wednesdays excluding bank holidays, each session would have a maximum attendance of 6 to12 users based on client ratio per staff member of 1:1 to 1:4 depending on the clients personal needs. Each client would be encouraged to work alongside our staff and volunteers to carry out the daily tasks of the farm.

We will work closely with parents, carers and case workers to aid with any concerns there may be around our clients. Concerns previously discussed and helped with were, fitness, autism, levels, social skills, anxiety, none verbal, compassion to others, anger and self-confidence.

It has been proven by many that spending time in green space or bringing nature into your everyday life can benefit both your mental and physical wellbeing. For example, doing things like growing food or flowers, exercising outdoors or being around animals can have lots of positive effects.
